Invitation for Bids (IFB)
1. The Government of Kenya has received a Loan and Grant from the African Development Fund towards the cost of Rift Valley Water Supply and Sanitation Project - Water Supply and Sanitation Improvements for 13 Towns and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Rehabilitation and Augmentation of Water Supply and Sanitation Works in Molo, Elburgon and Njoro Towns, Contract No. RVWSB/WC/01/8.
2. The Rift Valley Water Services Board now invites sealed Bids based on National Competitive Bidding (NCB) from eligible Bidders for the Construction of the following Works:
2.1. MOLO TOWN
Minor Rehabilitation Works at Existing High Level Tank
New Works:

1. 2. The Rift Valley Water Services Board now invites sealed Bids based on National Competitive Bidding (NCB) from eligible Bidders for the Construction of the following Works:
2.1. MOLO TOWN
Minor Rehabilitation Works at Existing High Level Tank
New Works:
- Borehole Manifold Pipeline, Length 1500m,;diameter varying in size from 100mm - 200mm
- Chlorination Building including equipping with Mixing Tanks, Dosers, Mixers, etc.
2.2. ELBURGON TOWN
Minor Rehabilitation Works at Existing High Level Tank
New Works:
Minor Rehabilitation Works at Existing High Level Tank
New Works:
- Borehole Manifold Pipeline, Length 2400m, diameter varying in size from 100mm - 150mm
- Chlorination Building including equipping with Mixing Tank, Dosers, Mixers, etc.
2.3 NJORO TOWN
Minor Rehabilitation Works at Existing Shell Borehole Site
New Works:
Minor Rehabilitation Works at Existing Shell Borehole Site
New Works:
- Borehole Manifold Pipeline, Length 4200m, diameter varying in size from 100mm - 150mm
- Chlorination Building including equipping with Mixing Tanks, Dosers, Mixers, etc.
- 250m3 Capacity Reinforced Concrete Collector Tank
- Pump House and Control Room including associated Electrical Works, Site & Ancillary Works
- 150m3 Elevated Pressed Steel Tank including Tower, associated Pipework & Fittings.
3. Bidding is open to all Bidders from eligible source Countries as defined in the ADB's 'Rules of Procedure for Procurement of Goods and Works'.
