Medair, an international NGO, is planning to overhaul / rehabilitate the water distribution system in Wadakona Payam, Manyo County in Upper Nile State (Southern Sudan) after the final approval by our donor.
The fifteen year old water system in Wadekona serves approximately 17,000 people and is in desperate need to be overhauled.
The installation treats water from the river Nile and distributes this to the community via an elevated tank and network of pipelines and water kiosks.
Both the water treatment system and the distribution network will be overhauled and the distribution network will be extended to serve the increasing population of this payam.
The supply of materials, repair and construction work should be accomplished in a period of 6 months from the date of award of the contract.
Hereto Medair invites interested and competent contractors and companies to submit through the Medair South Sudan, support office in Nairobi located at George Padmore road, Off Kidaruma road next to Gemina court or in Juba located at Hai Nimira Talata near to the Concern Guesthouse off University road.
Specifications on the work can be obtained from the offices in Nairobi.
