The NATIONAL SOCIAL SECURITY FUND now invites sealed tenders from eligible and competent Security firms for the provision of Security/Guarding Services to various Fund residential properties.
Tender Documents detailing the requirements may be obtained from NSSF Procurement Office on 9th floor Room No. 905 Western Wing Block 'A' Social Security House Bishops Road Nairobi during normal working hours upon payment of a non - refundable fee of Ksh 3,000.00 in cash or Bankers cheque to the cashier on Podium floor, Room P006, Block 'A', Western wing, Social Security House Bishops Road Nairobi.
Those tenderers who had purchased Tender No. 21/2008-2009 will be provided with a replacement free of charge on production of purchase receipt.
Tender documents shall be accompanied by the following Mandatory (statutory) requirements for preliminary evaluation:-
1. Current evidence of NSSF contributions
2. Valid Tax compliance certificate from KRA
3. List of Directors.
4. Audited Accounts for the last Two years (i.e. within 2006 & 2009)
5. Certificate of Company Registration under the Companies Act, Cap 486 and in existence for at least 3 years
6. Original Bid Bond of Ksh. 100,000.00 valid for 120 days from the closing date of the tender
Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes and must be in Kenya Shillings, and shall remain valid for 90 days from the closing date of the tender.
Completed Tender documents should be submitted in a plain sealed outer envelope enclosing separately sealed envelopes (in "Original" and "Copy") all clearly marked NSSF Tender No. 03/2009-2010 - Provision of ' Security Services for Residential Properties as per instructions in the tender documents and addressed to:

P.O. Box 30599 NAIROBI.
The same should be deposited in the Tender Box situated on the 2nd floor, reception area, Block 'A' Western Wing, Social Security House, Bishop Road Nairobi, on or before 11.00a.rn local time on 3rd September, 2009.
Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter at the Seminar Room on 11th floor, Social Security House, Block 'A, Western Wing, Nairobi in the presence of Tenderers' representatives who choose to attend.
The National Social Security Fund reserves the right to accept or reject any tender in whole or in part without giving reasons for its decision.
