Tana and Athi Rivers Development Authority Sale of Stores and Equipment

The Tana and Athi Rivers Development Authority invites interested and eligible tenderers to tender for Motor Vehicles, Tractors, Ploughs, Combine harvester, Generator, Computer and Accessories, Furniture, Assorted tyres, Assorted Scrap metal, Electrical appliances among others.

The items are sold on as-is -where-is-basis and interested bidders may view the items from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm on normal working days at our industrial area office along Dundori Road and the project stations (Masinga, Kibwezi, Emali, Kitui and Tana Delta Irrigation Project (Garsen).

Detailed tender documents can be obtained from the cash office upon payment of a non refundable fee of ksh.2000 per tender document at the cash office in form of cash or bankers cheque payable to Tana and Athi Rivers Development Authority, P.O Box 47309-00100, Nairobi.

Tender Announcement: For an External Fund Manager for the Innovation Fund

The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands is currently tendering an external Fund Manager for the daily management and administration of the Innovation Fund.

The Innovation Fund is part of the Public Accountability Tanzania Initiative, an Initiative launched by the Government of the Netherlands, the Netherlands Development Organisation (SNV) and the Association of Dutch Municipalities International (VNG).

Tenderers should amongst others fulfill the following minimum requirements:
  • Have an average turnover of EURO 100,000 (excl VAT) in the field of Fund Management,
  • Have executed at least in a developing country since 2006;
  1. a fund/grant management assignment of at least EURO 100,000 (excl VAT),
  2. have managed at least 1 fund/grant of at least EURO 1,000,000 per year (excl VAT) with an international organisation.

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the total bid price from a reputable Financial Institution or Bankers Cheque payable to the Chief Electoral Officer and must be valid for 120 days after bid submission deadline. Late bids will be rejected.

Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes, and must remain valid for 120 days.
