Interested firms may obtain the complete tender documents from the Procurement Manager at the Main Campus, Administration Block 1st Floor, Room A104, on payment of a non-refundable tender fee as stated above at Barclays Bank A/C 03-094-8245531 Queensway House Branch and obtain an official receipt from Income Section Room G4. Prices quoted must be net, inclusive of all Government taxes and remain valid during the whole contract period.

Tenders should be accompanied by bid bonds as stated above in the form of banker’s cheque or
letters of guarantee from banks or approved insurance companies.

The completed tender documents must be submitted in plain sealed envelope marked with tender Number and Name to;

Kenya Pipeline Company Limited (KPC) Security Services Tender

Invitation to Tender for Provision of Security Services for the Years 2010 - 2012

The Kenya Pipeline Company Limited (KPC) invites sealed tenders from eligible candidates for the Provision of Security Services for the period 2010 – 2012.

The Scope of Service

The scope of services shall include but not limited to the following:-
  1. Provide Security Services to KPC Installations.
  2. Provide radio communication HF & VHF deployment and routine check patrol vehicles, (provide details of motor vehicles) together with CCK radio communication licenses.
  3. Provide sound and effective security guarding dogs and dog handlers where applicable.
  4. Attend fire emergency situation /fire prevention, detection and control of spillages and vandalism.
  5. Provide literate and trained guards capable of using radios and modern equipment.
  6. Ability to control Industrial disputes /assembly control and riots
Mandatory Requirements:

The Tenderers must meet the following minimum requirements:-
  1. Must provide a copy of certificate of registration/incorporation.
  2. Must provide a tender security of Kshs.100,000.00 from a bank registered in Kenya.
  3. Must provide a copy of valid KRA Tax Compliance Certificate.
  4. Must provide Audited accounts for the last two years.
  5. Must provide (5) reference letters of contracts held over the last 3 years indicating value of each contract.
  6. Must provide a valid Communications Commission of Kenya radio frequency licences.
  7. Must provide a valid vaccination certificate for the dogs
  8. Must provide training program offered to the guards.
  9. Must provide a list of office and service equipment, including 4WD patrol vehicles, Motorcycles, Telephones, Computers Fax, email, HF/VHF Radio (proof of Ownership necessary)
Interested firms may obtain the tender documents from the Procurement Manager, Kenya Pipeline Company Limited, Nairobi Terminal situated at Industrial Area Sekondi Road, off Nanyuki Road upon payment of a non – refundable fee of Kshs 5,000.00 either in cash or in bankers Cheque, in favour of Kenya Pipeline Company Ltd.

Tenders in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked: “SU/QT/116N/10 Tender for
Provision of Security Services year 2010 - 2012” addressed to:

Opening of the tenders will take place thereafter in the presence of the Tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend.

Annual Tenders for the Year 2009/2010

Requisite tender documents may be obtained from the County Councils Headquarters office at Kenol upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 3,000 (three thousand shillings only). Prices quoted must include VAT and cost of delivery to the council headquarters offices at Kenol or to the divisional offices.

Tenders in plain sealed envelopes bearing words 'Annual Tender" followed by the item or items to which it relates may be deposited in the Tender Box at the County Hall kenol on or before Tuesday 8th October 2009 at 12.00 noon.

The council is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender or give reasons for rejection.

Further the council reserves the right to accept wholly or part thereof of any tender.

Tenderers wishing to witness the opening may do so at the above-mentioned offices a 112.00 noon on the closing date.

Tender Documents with detailed information and specifications may be obtained from the Procurement Section on Second Floor, Room 105, High Court Building from 17th September, 2009 upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Kshs.5,000/- per set to the Cashier in Room 91 in cash or Banker's cheque payable to the Registrar, High Court of Kenya.

NSSF Tender No 03/2009 - 2010 Tender for Provision of Security Services

The NATIONAL SOCIAL SECURITY FUND now invites sealed tenders from eligible and competent Security firms for the provision of Security/Guarding Services to various Fund residential properties.

Tender Documents detailing the requirements may be obtained from NSSF Procurement Office on 9th floor Room No. 905 Western Wing Block 'A' Social Security House Bishops Road Nairobi during normal working hours upon payment of a non - refundable fee of Ksh 3,000.00 in cash or Bankers cheque to the cashier on Podium floor, Room P006, Block 'A', Western wing, Social Security House Bishops Road Nairobi.

Those tenderers who had purchased Tender No. 21/2008-2009 will be provided with a replacement free of charge on production of purchase receipt.

Tender documents shall be accompanied by the following Mandatory (statutory) requirements for preliminary evaluation:-

1. Current evidence of NSSF contributions
2. Valid Tax compliance certificate from KRA
3. List of Directors.
4. Audited Accounts for the last Two years (i.e. within 2006 & 2009)
5. Certificate of Company Registration under the Companies Act, Cap 486 and in existence for at least 3 years
6. Original Bid Bond of Ksh. 100,000.00 valid for 120 days from the closing date of the tender

Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes and must be in Kenya Shillings, and shall remain valid for 90 days from the closing date of the tender.

Completed Tender documents should be submitted in a plain sealed outer envelope enclosing separately sealed envelopes (in "Original" and "Copy") all clearly marked NSSF Tender No. 03/2009-2010 - Provision of ' Security Services for Residential Properties as per instructions in the tender documents and addressed to:

Embassy of Sweden Nairobi. Expression of Interest for Provision of Security Services

Embassy of Sweden is seeking services of a reputable Security Firm to provide Security services to 21 posted staff residence and Office. Currently we have engaged 48 guards and a dog.
Interested Security firms are invited and must observe the following:-
  1. Submit a written application in which they should give a brief description of the Firm's profile, relevant certifications, services provided, experience, and the list of their current clientele
  2. The Organisation must have been actively involved in the security business in the country for at least 8 years, (submit copy of registration certificate or Certificate of Incorporation)
  3. Submit requirement for recruiting a guard
  4. Submit copy of Terms and Conditions for an employed guard
  5. Submit copies of payslip of any three guards.
  6. Submit a documented resource capacity (human and facilities)
  7. Submit a brief description of nature of training the guards undergo having joined the organisation.
NOTE: The most responsive firms will be invited to participate in the tender for provision of Security services.
