REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF GALVANIZED STEEL COIL TO UNMISS IN JUBA, THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH SUDAN

The United Nations Mission in the Republic of South Sudan (UNMISS) hereby solicit Expression of Interest (EOI) from competent companies for the requirements stated herein.

Description of General Requirements:

The United Nations Mission in the Republic of South Sudan (UNMISS) hereby solicits Expression of Interest (EOI) from competent companies for the supply and delivery of galvanized steel coil for manufacturing of roofing sheets to UNMISS, in the Republic of South Sudan as per the following:

• Galvanized steel coil for manufacturing of roofing sheet
• American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM A-653) structural quality
• Zinc coating, Designation Class G-90, ASTM A-275
• Regular Spangle, Hot Dip Galvanized
• Lightly Oiled, Non-Chemical Treated, A-525
• Thickness designation by decimal of a millimeter (Not by gauge)
• 0.80 mm thick, Grade ‘D’ material
• Tolerance -0.00 + 0.20 mm
• Minimum Elongation 22%
• Hardness 70 - 78 Rb
• Width 59.69 cm to 60.96 cm maximum, optimum 60.33 cm
• 50.80 cm Inside Diameter (ID)
• 101.60 cm maximum Outside Diameter (OD)
• Weight of each coil = 2,268 kg maximum
• Coil stock for roll forming
• Surface Treatment Organic Coating Passivation (Okem Coat)

Conditions:

Interested companies are invited to submit their EOI by courier, hand delivery or e-mail as indicated below.

The EOI must include, as a minimum, the following documentation/information:

• Company’s profile, with a minimum of three-year proven experience.
• Company’s registration certificate.
• Company’s contact details (address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail, etc.).
• List of similar deliveries undertaken

This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. UNMISS reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process.

Thus, submitting a response to this EOI does not automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued.
