Export Processing Zones Authority Consultancy Services For: Design and Preparation of Bid Documents for Infrastructure Services on Phase 2 of Athi Riv

Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) is a state corporation established under EPZ Act (Cap 517) of the Laws of Kenya. The organization is charged with the responsibility of attracting both local and foreign direct investment into the Export Processing Zones Program (EPZ) by providing both fiscal and physical incentives.

EPZA has the mandate to undertake infrastructure development in public EPZ'S and is desirious to provide such infrastructure services in phase ii of the Athi River EPZ.

Export Processing Zones Authority is desirous to provide such infrastructure services in the un-serviced parts of its EPZ Athi River land.

The Authority therefore invites proposals for the following Consultancy Services:

Detailed Engineering Designs and Preparation of Bid Documents for Infrastructure Services on Phase II of Athi River EPZ.

These services include the following:
  • Access Roads and Ancillary Services
  • Water Reticulation System
  • Sewerage Services
  • Storm Water Drainage
The invitation is open to eligible consulting Engineers, firms or consortia that are legally registered in Kenya and who are experienced in undertaking similar projects. More details of the assignment are provided for in the Tender documents.

Tender Documents may be collected from Administration Building, Ground Floor, at Athi River EPZ upon payment of non-refundable fee of Kshs. 5,000 for each set.

Completed Tender Documents must be received by the Authority in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked " Design and Preparation of Bid Documents for Infrastructure services on phase 2 of Athi River EPZ" should be sent to>

Or deposited in the Tender Box situated in the Reception Area, Ground Floor EPZA Administration Building, so as to be received on or before 4th October, 2010.at 12:00 noon

Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter, in the conference room.

Bidders or their representatives may attend.

The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and is not bound to give any reason for its decision.
