The Interim Independent Electoral Commission (IIEC) invites sealed tenders from National Firms for the following tender:

Tender Name: Supply and Delivery of Non-Strategic and Strategic Material for the Referendum
Non refundable fee: Ksh.3000
Interested eligible firms may obtain further information from and inspect the tender documents at the office of the Procurement Manager, Anniversary Towers 5th Floor Room 508C during normal working hours, Monday to Friday 8.00a.m – 1.00a.m and 2.00p.m -5.00 p.m.
A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested firm upon payment of non-refundable fees as indicated in the table above, in cash or banker’s cheque payable to the Chief Electoral Officer, Interim Independent Electoral Commission, or at the cash office located on 6nd Floor, Anniversary Towers.
Both National and International eligible bidders can bid.
Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with the tender number and must be deposited in the Tender Box located 6th floor Anniversary Towers or be addressed to:

So as to be received on or before Wednesday 5th May 2010 at 12 noon.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the total bid price from a reputable Financial Institution or Bankers Cheque payable to the Chief Electoral Officer and must be valid for 120 days after bid submission deadline. Late bids will be rejected.
Price quoted shall be fixed and firm and be in Kenyan currency.
Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes, and must remain valid for 120 days.
Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of candidates’ representatives who choose to attend at the Conference Room on 6nd Floor, Anniversary Towers.
The Commission reserves the rights to accept or reject any tender in part or in whole and does not bind itself to give reasons for its decision
